By accessing or using Jekata by OAT ("Jekata," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.
Jekata is a WhatsApp-first commerce platform that enables businesses to create online storefronts, receive orders and bookings, manage products, and communicate with customers. We provide tools for vendors of all business types including products, services, hotels, restaurants, events, and more.
To use certain features, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password.
As a vendor, you are responsible for the products, services, and content you list on your storefront. You must ensure that your listings are accurate, that you have the right to sell what you offer, and that your business complies with all applicable laws and regulations. You are solely responsible for fulfilling orders, handling customer disputes, and processing refunds.
Jekata charges a 7% platform fee on transactions processed through the platform. Vendors retain 93% of each transaction. Fees are automatically deducted at the time of transaction. Additional payment processing fees may apply depending on the payment method used.
You agree not to use Jekata to sell illegal, counterfeit, or prohibited items; to engage in fraudulent activity; to spam or harass customers; to violate intellectual property rights; or to attempt to disrupt or compromise the platform's security. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
All content, features, and functionality of the Jekata platform, including logos, text, graphics, and software, are the exclusive property of Jekata by OAT and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
Jekata is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. We are not responsible for transactions between vendors and customers, product quality, delivery failures, or disputes between parties.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause or notice. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes. Your continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
